Strange transient formations in the sands of many beaches of Karishikar are related to concentrations of i-matter, a magical form of matter. The easiest way to explain that is by example, Mithril is i-silver. A few inhabitants believe the formations are signs from otherworldly beings, so many temples along the coast of Karishikar were built where these formations have occurred. Most are happy to find these types of formations as they are rich ore sources of the various i-metals. This particular formation is an ore of ferrg, the i-matter equivalent of iron.
